We have rooms that can be used for meetings, parties, weddings, etc. To apply for room availablity, please print, fill out, and return the Use of Facilities Application to the Church Office.
Our Services
If you are interested in Christian baptism through the First Presbyterian Church of Rahway, please contact the Church Office with your name, address, phone number, the name of the infant or adult to be baptized, and the date that you would like the baptism to take place. The pastor will be notified of the request and you will be contacted with further instructions. Or, print, fill out the Baptism Application Form, and mail the completed form to the Church Office.
Baptismal Information Requests
If you need information on a baptism that was performed here at the First Presbyterian Church, call the Church Office with your name, address, phone number, the name of the person who was baptized and the date that the baptism took place. We will get the information from our Church Register and send out a letter detailing what had been recorded in our registry. (Sorry but we do NOT make copies of our official Church Register documentation.)
If you would like to get married at the First Presbyterian Church in Rahway, here are a few guidelines to follow...
Call the Church Office with the following information:
Are you or your intended a member of the church?
What date are you hoping to secure?
Provide your name, address and phone number.
The pastor will be notified of your request and will contact you. A Wedding Application Form and informational booklet will be sent to you which is to be read by both future bride and groom. It is important to return the form as soon as possible - the requested date will not be firm until the form is returned and approved. A deposit check must be returned with the form.
Once the above is received, you will be contacted by the church to setup the final plans for your special day.
Marriage Information Requests
If you need information on a marriage that was performed here at the First Presbyterian Church, call the Church Office with your name, address, phone number, the name of the persons who were married and the date that the marriage took place. We will get the information from our Church Register and send out a letter detailing what had been recorded in our registry. (Sorry but we do NOT make copies of our official Church Register documentation.)
Please notify the Church Office and/or the pastor of the death, or have the Funeral Home contact us with the day of death and the time(s) and date(s) of the viewing. All arrangements will then be made according to your wishes.
